I never read these as a kid (wizards were evil). But I started to read them last Halloween to see when my kids were ready to start reading them, and now I have to finish them all. This was my favorite book since the first one. I so bored by book 5, and book 7 so far is a bit of a slog too. But this one was a nice pace.
